I need a good science fiction film

Love Interstellar, Star Trek (latest films), Dune.
I really need a good cinematic sci fi experience but there’s nothing on so any film recommendations will be most welcome.

Forbidden Planet with Leslie Neilson, its so old, its completely bonkers, I remember watching it the first time as a kid at home. I thought then this plot is totally mental and it is because it's Shakespeare's The Tempest. I don't know what Shakespeare was on when he wrote it but no matter how it's done its mad. So doing it as 50s or 60s Hollywood at least makes it watchable.
And I saw the Tempest with Derek Jacobi as Prospero trying to make it coherent. I could be wrong but I think Robbie the Robot is a work of genius.

Loads of good suggestions although I thought Under the Skin was the worst film I've ever attempted to watch.
