Anything else I can do for tennis elbow?

I've never had it this badly before, it's so painful! Sometimes it feels nervy and radiates down to my fingers and/or up to my shoulder but the outside of the joint is always sore.

I'm massaging it, alternating ice and heat and taking naproxen (tried ibuprofen, paracetamol and co-codamol but they didn't touch it). Naproxen works really well for joint pain for me but I don't want to mess up my stomach so I've limited it to once a day.

Is there anything else I should try?

Have you tried a tennis elbow compression strap?

When i had it i used theraband/ resistance bar i think. They sell them on Amazon. I was recommended it by a friend.

Yes I have one. It gives some initial relief. It's hard to get on correctly, seems to be made to fit massive man arms so it rucks up when I tighten it. Maybe I need to look for a different one.

Oh great, thanks. I've not heard of this, will give it a try.

You need physiotherapy. If you don’t have access, google exercises for tennis elbow and do them several times a day. Everything else is just managing the problem rather than healing it.

Thanks, have had a look. I'll try anything to improve it, it's really getting me down.
I do think stretching will help and being totally honest with myself I need to get off my phone. I realised since this has started how much I lock that elbow and my shoulder and neck are tight too.

Threenager I did some exercises I found online last night and can already feel a difference this morning. There is still some localised tenderness but it feels less inflamed and nervy.
I'd never seen physio recommended for TE, thanks for the info.

One shot of cortisone in the elbow by a rheumatologist got rid of mine immediately and it has never come back. Radical but effective.

I suffered from this terribly and nothing I tried helped. My GP suggested I try acupuncture and referred me to a local clinic. I had two treatments and have never suffered from it again.
