Should we pull our from a property purchase

After a long search we found an acceptable property to purchase - far from our dream flat, but the choice is just horrendous atm.
It had some issues here and there, but nothing major.

But the report finally arrived from our solicitor (so we are quite close to exchange) and only now we find out about issues with damp - because it was claimed from insurance.
It is a wall below the window apparently and upon second inspection we find it is actually bulgy just ever so slightly, very cold to touch and the paint is somewhat compromised in that area (you can tell it was repainted few times).
It is not a large surface that is affected - but still not exactly thrilled about this.
We are worried could it be mold underneath, is this even fixable as that side of the house is in a shadow.
My logic is telling me - just pull out, but then I remember what kind of garbage is currently in the market...rentals galore where you pretty much need to rebuild the entire place.

I never had issue with water/damp in my flat before - what are people's experiences - is this a major issue, fixable at all?

Can you work out the source of the damp? That's key.

So your survey didn’t pick up on a current damp problem? This is some other report to do with insurance claimed for a past issue? It’s not super clear but if most surveys pick up on the slightest issue with damp so if it wasn’t flagged, I’d just have damp proof dude check it out. It doesn’t sound like a reason to pull out at this point.
