Any good books out there for tween/tern autistic girls?

Those of you whose daughters are or you suspect might be on the autism spectrum -

are there any particularly helpful books you’ve found (for your daughters or you) to help their understanding of themselves and maybe some coping mechanisms to help with the bits of everyday social life they find hard?

edit - sorry, title should say tween / teen but apparently uneditable.

I’d like to know this too. DD (11) just diagnosed with AuDHD.

DH found the book ‘Unmasked’ helpful. I quite liked bits of ‘Your Child Is Not Broken’. Haven’t found anything yet for DD…

Can you see me series is recommended by my daughter. I bought it for her just after she was diagnosed when she was 11 years old and this book series remains one of her favourites. https://amzn.eu/d/2wIWuKN

https://amzn.eu/d/dcpTgnb this is a good book by Emily Katy. I would read it before giving it to your daughter. It is beautifully written and really insightful.

My daughter also recommends Siena Castello's book. That's a good one for parents to read first.

And finally, she also recommends A Kind of Spark. https://amzn.eu/d/bCypCfH it is more of a story, and the main character is autistic. There is an dramatisation of the book on iPlayer and all of the autistic characters are played by autistic people. My daughter loved it.
