Wildlife / Trailcams - does anyone have any experience with one?

Thinking of getting one but puzzling over make, model, reliability, level of customer care in case of any issues, etc.

Also wireless is tempting but perhaps not necessarily practical or cheap?

Can anyone with experience offer any advice on such cams please?

I got an Apeman trail cam around the £60-80 price range which has been great. I've had it years.

If you want wired then Ezviz are a good make.

My Apeman is complicated and uses loads of batteries - for the garden I’ve got a cheap solar powered one linked to my phone for the garden £15 works fine

Thanks for the suggestions so far. :)

We have has this one for a couple of years. Works very well, it runs on batteries but they last a long time. They do solar powered ones too, not sure how well they would work in long spells of grey weather.

It does video or single shot, it has a motion detector and night vision. DH can download the images onto his phone via an app very easily.

Have a look here, they’re really helpful if you call them for advice. I’ve got two Browning ones and really pleased with them. Best batteries for these cameras are energiser intimate lithium ones, last for ages.
