You are not automatically entitled to free tests on UC, very much depends on your earnings

I get UC but not free prescriptions, but I can't remember what the limit is. I don't get free school meals or anything either. I used to get free dental care on Tax Credits but UC is not as generous is that respect. Not that it matters as I can't find an NHS dentist anyway.

You need to earn £435 or less a month if no children or LCWRA on your claim. It's £935 for those with children or LCWRA

It’ll show at the bottom of your statement if you’re eligible.

As the pp said as you have LCWRA as long as you earn less than £935 in income not UC in an assessment period you are entitled to free prescriptions. You just have to show your statement to the pharmacy showing the income is less than £935

imtryingtoleave · 13/03/2025 21:40

ok so it says i earn no income so im guessing that im entitled to them
this is what my statement says
thanks
