Preschool behaviour acceptable or not?

So I was picking up DD3 from her preschool (not my favourite preschool in the area but currently running out of options due to few reasons) and I heard one of the staff yelling at a boy. She specifically said, " I am so sick of you" followed by reasons why she was and took the toy from the table and walked out angrily. (the reason was that boy was pushing other kids and other bits that kids do) I am point is no matter what the child's behaviour is staff should not be uses phrases like that in feont of kids because Let me tell you, my DD picks up many things from preschool and says it at home. If she said that to my DD It would have been my DD last day at nursery. What are your thoughts?

How do you know that your dd is not being spoken to like that? If the staff are comfortable behaving like that in earshot of parents then you can be sure they are doing it when there are no parents around.
I would remove her and make a complaint.

I had the same thought. That poor little boy was crying historically after she yelled at him. DD came home with a busted lip today and wasn't in the mood. staff said that she just fell down and this is not the first time this has happened. She clearly said to me today that she doesn't like her preschool anymore. So I guess we would just remove her from there.

No that’s awful. Some children without a doubt test your patience more than others but you never, ever speak to them like that.

Remember that awful case in a nursery with baby Genevieve? The nursery worker who killer was regularly heard saying ‘you and me are not friends’ and mocking her. People who think it’s ok to speak to children like that shouldn’t be working with them. It’s at best unprofessional, at worst downright abusive.

I would be moving her.
Totally unacceptable (staff) behaviour.
