Not sure where to post this but can anyone recommend a nice single malt whiskey please?

It's for a special gift, he likes cigars too so preferably one that would complement that. Up to £150. Thank you 🙂

Master of Malt do Glenmorangie at a range of price points, if you would prefer to stick to what he likes. With your budget, something a little more niche might be nice though. If you don't have an indie retailer near you that you can pop in to, drop an email to Master of Malt, they are very helpful.

Im not normally a whisky drinker, but I do love the occasional glass of Penderyn single malt. Welsh brewery, fabulous taste.

My husband is a Glenmorangie drinker and hates the peaty whiskies (he's also Scottish). You can get Glenmorangie from different casks which gives them a different tasting note (he particularly likes the Quinta Ruban 14 year old) and you can get a 19 year old within your budget.

He's also a big fan of Tomintoul and their 16 year old is amazing. They also do something called the Cigar Malt which has subtle peat notes so not as heavy and divisive as standard peat malts.

MacAllan 12 year sherry cask. Beautiful. Not smoky, balanced and I think quite honey like - the sherry cask gives it a beautiful finish. I’m pregnant and now really craving a glass 😩

My Dad and DH love Highland Park or Talisker

Raasay unpeated; delectable

My Dad always rated Glanfarclas. He didn't like peaty malts x

Highland Park is excellent or Monkey Shoulder which is classed as a modern whisky.

12 year old balvenie doublewood Carribbean cask.

Craiellachie 17 year old is one that my dh has been enjoying recently, it's a speyside malt. He has also been liking the hearach from Harris and Johnnie Walker blue label which comes in a lovely presentation box. Costco do a good price on this.
