He doesn't look Victorian as he's not wearing a hat. That hair does look like late 1700s- early 1800s. But it could be earlier?

Thanks all. I'm thinking 1790 -1830 too - I he's got a Georgian look about him, the white cravat and brushed back hair style

Definitely Georgian, probably latter couple of decades of C18th.

I think this is clerical dress probably ly non conformist methodist or Baptist. It is more modern than Charles Wesley but older than say Thomas Chalmers I would say about 1810-30
