Hayfever in March?

Has anyone else’s hayfever started really suddenly this month? It’s either that or I’ve caught a cold (doesn’t feel like a cold though - but I do work with kids so 🤷🏼‍♀️)

I have counted how many sneezes I do every day for the past 3 years and yesterday I did 34 which is excessive! My nose is constantly tickly, my throat is itchy and even my ears itch.

Please tell me I’m not the only one suffering so early?

The seasons are all over the place. We’ve flowers budding in our gardens that shouldn’t be for at least another month. Grass growing furiously, too.

I was actually going to post about it too-

Have had hay fever my whole life and this year is hideous.

I feel really awful-eyes so itchy that I have rubbed new bags underneath, ears itch, throat itches, congested, and sneezing constantly. Feel a bit shivery from it. Gets worse in the evening.

Am alternating cetirizine and loratadine, using nose spray and eye drops. Am taking a benadryl before bed and sleeping propped up.

I actually did an online consult with surgery-hoping maybe they would prescribe something but made me an appointment for next week. I don't even know if there is anything more to be done but I am wretched!

Try fexofenadine we buy it in savers

Hayfever is just a catch-all common name for allergic rhinitis, although many people associate it with grass pollen so you get no sympathy from them if you have an attack at any other time of year. As well as grass, some of the things that set me off are birch, forsythia, lilac, rapeseed, harvest time in August, strong perfume, and I'm also allergic to fungus spores so I get hay fever in the autumn as well. And I can't go within a hundred yards of a branch of Lush.

Another poor sufferer here and I think it's a bit earlier, too.
And yes, I have the throat weirdness that mimics a cold.
I never had hay fever when I lived near the sea in Kent, only when I moved up to the Shires!

I use fexo personally and it works wonders (I’m a grass pollen victim, quite severe). Next step is kenalog which is a miracle for a lot of people.

I've been really shitty the last three days. I take fexofenadine but it seems to make me sleepy as it interferes with my other meds.

I've not got hayfever yet, but took the DC to the park today and stupidly decided to sit on the grass.... Am all itchy now! despite having no bare skin
