Hair removal for an 11 year old

My DD has dark hair above her lip. She's spoken to me about it a few times before and kids in her class have asked her if she's growing a moustache. I've told her that everyone has hair on their face and some people have darker hair and it's normal. She was ok with that for a while but she's said again that it's bothering her. She said that no one at school had said anything more. She keeps mentioning it as a concern for her.

I feel that 11 is quite young to be eliminating hair, but I also don't want her to be so self conscious that it affects her, or worse, she tries to deal with it herself.

At her age, I've looked at bleaching or hair removal cream. I've mentioned both options to her and she said she'd prefer the hair removal cream.

I've seen that veet have one, but it doesn't have the best reviews on Amazon.

Can anyone recommend a good hair removal cream for an 11 year old?

I have threading done and find it helps a lot. Also have an epilator.

My DD has this issue as well, she started asking for help around the same age. Hair removal creams smell awful, and on the upper lip area right under the nose it's really unpleasant. We tried it once and then went straight to waxing. At first I did it for DD with facial wax strips, but after muddling through for a few years in this way she now goes to a local beautician who does it for a fiver about once every 3/4 weeks.

Please don't bleach it, it looks like a neon stripe when the sun catches it!
I think the veet facial wax stripes are about £6, they are very easy to use (easy for you to do for her!) Just have some frozen peas wrapped in a cloth ready to take away the redness.
The added benefit of waxing is that it eventually disables the hair follicles so as she gets older the hair will thin out and be much less noticeable.
