I want to think of a really special Christening gift for my nephew who I’ll be Godmother for. I want something unique / special that he can keep forever - has anyone ever thought of any lovely ideas?

I would like to spend £100-150.

thank you

i still have my baby silver. Ive got a silver baby first tooth, first curl. Or maybe a silver bracelet with their name on

A silver bracelet with his name or a bookmark maybe?
If they plan to hire a photographer or allow taking pictures, you can make a slideshow with these pictures afterwards and send it to them (unless they are doing it themselves of course).

I was given a beautiful silver frame with a cross, name and date engraved on it. It makes me smile every time I look at the photo of me and my daughter in her christening gown that is displayed. Silver Editions have similar.

Lanka Kade Noahs Ark. They also do a plain wood version. I recently got rid of my engraved christening crystal and random silver trickets but something like this would be an heirloom. (In our family anyway).

I typed up a whole answer but then DH came in and wanted to talk to me (he is meant to be ill in bed) so it has disappeared!

I got some very nice silver napkins rings for those children who have been christened in my family. Antique but perfect. About £35 each (I had to look around). You could get a set if you wanted to pay more. They will be used.

Just make sure they are solid silver not silver plate.

I gifted a Dalvey compass to my godson as christening gift, it was very well received and absolutely lovely - also had his initials engraved on it. It was many years ago but still one of the most memorable gifts I have given. This isn't the one but it was the first that came up when I googled https://www.dalvey.com/voyager-compass-blue-mop-03390?wickedsource=google&wickedid=Cj0KCQiAz6q-BhCfARIsAOezPxnO2CVIC9xtPDb7EsQB36UGiaqtCVLbrIdOglv66FwyKo5QptygWSkaApPgEALwwcB&wickedid=&wcid=18940975806&wv=4&gccid=18940975806&gspeciallcampaign=true&gadsource=1&gbraid=0AAAAADk211uJAnE69utfGbpQpgdS6Iykf&gclid=Cj0KCQiAz6q-BhCfARIsAOezPxnO2CVIC9xtPDb7EsQB36UGiaqtCVLbrIdOglv66FwyKo5QptygWSkaApPgEALwwcB

I used to suggest this often but I think things have changed. An engraved Swiss Army knife used to be a great present.
Silver cufflinks.
A globe
And as others have suggested a silver photo frame, napkin rings
Also St Christopher?
