Sorry I might be in the wrong place!

DP did blood tests last week after feeling ‘off’ for about a fortnight - terrible headaches, no appetite, aching legs, dizziness. The doctor rang yesterday afternoon and asked him to come in this morning (!). I felt ok last night and this morning but nervous now that he’s in there - he was due in at 10.30 but still haven’t heard from him.

Rationally I know that the docs are probably running late, he’s probably in there now and will text me any second. I also know he’s liable to put the phone in his back pocket and chat away to someone and not check it, or even go back to work and get distracted!!!

Anyone been through similar or have any advice on how to get my stomach to stop twisting!! 🤣 I’m thinking now I should have gone with him but he insisted it was fine.

It's inevitable that you are worried. Appointment will almost certainly run late and he might not message because he's not worried or he might stop and get a coffee etc and not realise how concerned you are, you were probably calm and reassuring with him before he went. Good luck.

Thanks so much - I ended up ringing him, he was in the shop! The appointment did run late, a few small things came up on the bloods but nothing worrying!! I’m so relieved. He’s going to get a monthly injection of a vitamin and he got a prescription. Thanks again for responding! I feel much better now.
