GP Health Record in NHS App - definition of "significance"?

I was just looking through my GP Health Record in the NHS App and in the Health Conditions section each condition says one or other of:

Significance: Minor
Significance: Significant

Can anyone point me to a definition of what 'Significant' means in this context? It seems a bit random to me, some things I woud regard as significant are listed as minor, and vice versa.

This is my biggest pet peeve (work in a GP surgery). On the system we use conditions are automatically designated minor or significant. Sometimes correctly, often not. It is possible for the doctor/nurse to override/correct it, but in a 10 min appointment it's often the last thing on their mind. Drives me nuts though when you see a patient's list of conditions which ends up incoherent and you have to sift through to find the relevant stuff

In my notes the things that nearly killed me are classed as Significant, everything else is Minor.

It amuses me that in my notes the birth of my daughter is “significant”, but the birth of my son is “minor”. From that I just figured it’s random/made-up/whatever some member of staff was feeling like at the time.

Data in NHS records is so flawed. It drives me nuts when commissioners are constantly on our cases about stuff that is being done but just not coded correctly because the systems are so arcane.

Thank you. This is very helpful context!

I thought I'd already posted this - clearly not! I only recently downloaded the NHS App, and was investigating the different categories. When I looked at "my conditions", I was pretty appalled to see that "bereavement, husband" was listed as being of minor significance. Having lost my husband after being together since 1975, is most definitely the most devastating thing that's happened to me, and surely has a significant impact on physical, social, and mental well-being - obviously. I wrote to my GP, and she replied that she was "sorry that I was upset by this", and thankfully she's overridden the entry, and it's now significant. But if this is entered automatically, then I'd really like it to be changed for everyone, not just those of us who are indignant enough to challenge it.
