I’ve just finished washing up. DD requested a roast chicken dinner, so there is left over chicken for lunch tomorrow 🍗
i have lit some candles and am about to hit the ironing while watching Call The Midwife.
I bought a box hair die so might do that later if I don’t run out of energy!
What are you up to?

Took some photos of some clothes for Vinted - scrolled on phone for too many hours! - had a lovely veg soup and breadsticks for dinner - did 2 hours of housework afterwards but got day off tomorrow yippee! Probably hit the sack at midnight 🕛

My best mate phoned me so I still have 2 tops to iron.
Wishing all of you off next week the best half term and ‘big girl pants’ for the rest of us heading back to work tomorrow.

We also had roast chicken for dinner and watched Michael Mcintire big show on iPlayer as missed it yesterday.
DH tidied up in the kitchen and now is getting ready for work day tomorrow. We need to discuss a few things about back garden later.
DD is taking a bath and I’m in between FB and MN waiting for my turn.
To add : it was one of the most boring Sundays here - rain all day.

Visited Wilfs old babysitter and her family earlier. Wilf considers himself a honarary uncle to her children and they adored him visiting. We then went to church and watched Dancing On Ice and Call The Midwife. Now in bed as I have a 5.15am start in the morning for work!! 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯

I've applied for two new jobs tonight. The applications could have been better but as usual I left it to the last minute. I'm about to head upstairs and get organised for work tomorrow. I'll read my book for a bit and probably be sleeping for 10pm.

I've got my first ever half term so I've had a bit of wine and plan to have some more.

Ds is back to school tomorrow after half term. I wfh so means I need to set a much earlier alarm to get him up and ready for school 😭
Currently lying on the sofa in the kitchen surveying my cleaning up skills and not having the energy to move yet, will have a shower and then bed in a bit.

Right now I'm led on the living room floor in front of the fire listening to the wind and rain. We went for a woodland walk earlier and got covered in mud and then I came home, cooked a roast chicken dinner and tidied up. So now I'm staying here for a bit and hoping the warmth will help my backache. I'll try not to fall asleep on the floor.

I've just jumped into bed after watching The Maze Runner. We had pasta bake for dinner, followed by chocolate cake.

One more day off work and school tomorrow, hoping for some dry weather!

How peaceful and therapeutic is it listening to the rain tonight, it’s really gentle. Apparently it’s stopping in 30 mins so I’m enjoying listening to that wine a glass of red with my 2 dogs on the bed sleeping peacefully

DH is nights and I'm an early shift tomorrow (both NHS). I'm in bed smug that my food is prepped for the next 2 days and scrubs ironed and hanging up.

I had a bath, did some lasering, straightened my hair, did some knitting whilst watching call the midwife and I'm searching up how to make sewing adjustments. Nothing very exciting but satisfying none the less.

We ( dd my mum and me ) went to church, came home had dinner put kids to bed mopped floors came to bed x

I went to watch the new Mike Leigh film and wish I hadn't bothered.
Back to school tomorrow...., :(

Watched rugby and then Pottery thingy. Way too much drink with visiting sis and dd1 leading to an interesting debate on mental health and brain development in sex offenders.( DD's research area).

I've had a super lazy day today which is a very rare treat, I've been curled up on the sofa with the dog since about 2pm, didn't feel like cooking so just had a bowl of cereal 🙈 dog has just taken himself off to bed so I'll do the same once the news has finished
I feel completely refreshed ready for a short work week as have a few days off at the end of the week (booked completely accidentally forgetting it was HT.. I will probably just be a taxi service for teen DSC once they realise I'm off work!)

Commiserating with those of you who - like me! - are back to work tomorrow. And, hope all of you who are off this week have a relaxing time of it.

Have come up to read my book. Littlest DC has just climbed into my bed and although we sleep better in our own beds - I can't turn down a sleepy cuddle.
It's lovely to be cosy in bed while the rain patters outside.

I was away for the weekend, so I picked up a frozen pizza and oven chips for dinner. I cleaned the kitchen and assembled a washload to put on in the morning. I watched an episode of 'Young Sheldon' with DD and then 'Call the Midwife' by myself. I cleaned out DCats' litter trays and I've just fed them their bedtime snack. I'm heading to bed shortly and I'll make a start on my bookclub book. Tired after the weekend away and a long drive home today.
