But don’t.
I really wanted to enjoy Gladiators as I loved it as a kid and DD is the same age I was when it originally aired but I feel like it never really gets going. We still watch it every week though.
baths. I always fancy one but either run it too hot or too cold and then get bored straight away.

Staying up past 9pm. My body just shuts down. I get restless legs, my feet get hot, and I feel really uncomfortable.

Also country pubs like you get on Mr and Mrs Smith. The rooms are always baking hot, no air conditioning, wanky baths in the bedroom and there's nothing to do but go for a walk or drink. Possibly because we live in the country but I can't see the appeal at all!

Skiing. The idea of whooshing down a mountain on a crisp winter day is lovely, but the reality of having to schlep to a resort nowhere near the airport, the wetness of snow, and the feeling of obligation to ski every day of your holiday just doesn't stack up.

If there is such thing as hell, mine might just be a ski holiday. Ski fans simply cannot understand this and will usually say patronisingly 'Oh, but if you just TRIED it you'd love it!'.

I have. Never again.

Yep, walking for the sake of it, just no. Walking round lovely gardens in historic places in Summer or in woods- lovely. Dutifully plodding around my urban area in the name of exercise - feels pointless and joyless. Wish I loved it!

Also like pp wish I enjoyed all the grooming faff as I like the end result, but it feels relentless, especially now I'm growing a black and white beard which needs constant plucking and/or shaving 😆

Early mornings, and exercise.

Swimming. Absolutely can't be arsed with the ordeal of it. Getting your shit ready before you go, other people in pools, changing rooms, putting on your clothes still damp, wet hair, the smell of chlorine. Fuck off.

yes I'm fully a misery about it and i do go and take my kids swimming but also no.

Couldn't agree more.
Dreadful experience, unless somewhere hot, on a nice lounger, with poolside service, dipping in and out at leisure.

Cleaning. I want to get satisfaction from tidying and cleaning.

Reading. I used to read in pre internet days, but can't sustain my concentration enough now. The last book I read was so boring (not as good as the film even) and I regretted starting it. I persevered until the end as I was trying to achieve reading a book again. Some books are very poorly written as well. I would like to read some classics, but I just can't get started.
