If I like London, Bath, York, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cambridge and Edinburgh, where else might I enjoy visiting for a few days?

Definitely Norwich which should keep you busy for a weekend easily. Then I would recommend Alnwick, Durham and Newcastle in some sort of combination.

Definitely Norwich. It's very arty. Check out what's on there before you go. There's lots to do. Also good transport links to the Broads and the coast.

You'll not be disappointed😊

Cardiff.

Do you drive ? If so you could visit St David’s the oldest and smallest city in Wales with its amazing cathedral and also drive down to Pembroke which has the castle which was the home of the Tudors

OP, Norwich has everything. Old City, loads of history, you mentioned you like York. So, Elm Hill - Tudor buildings, cobbled streets, fantastic Cathedral, Norman Castle, Art galleries, near UEA so Sainsbury Centre, worth a visit. The Lanes, great for browsing, quirky shops and cafes. Huge outdoor market. Great train links to the Broads and coast, so Wells, Blakeney. Have a good google, I think you’d love it.

Belfast and the Antrim coast

St Andrews. This would be my top choice. Architecture, ruined cathedral, pretty town with history and museums, plus great beaches.

Chester. Mostly for the buildings.

Oxford. History, museums, architecture etc.

Norwich, the market is fantastic and the arcade for shopping is wonderful. Plenty of places for a meal out and loads of pubs for people who drink. I have been a few times now and have been impressed each time.

Cirencester
Bridgnorth
Gloucester

The above places my parents and I stayed in self catering accommodation and used that as a base and travelled to places within 20 miles of there.

St Albans

Actually, a lot of the cathedral towns and cities may suit you.
