Do you still have cookery books?

I probably have about 30-40 on a shelf in the kitchen, but apart from my old Delia and the odd Jamie book, I invariably I find recipes online. So is it time to get rid/pack away? I hate getting rid of books at the best of times!

I've just watched the pilot episode of sort your life out and dilly comments that no one ever gets rid of Delia. And I must admit I pared my vast collection down to about 10 last year and 5 of those are Delia.

I still have loads but could probably cull a few that I rarely (or never) use.

I also have a note book where I note down which book to use for certain items that are included in several books (used mainly for things like cranberry sauce, marzipan and lemon curd that I don't make very often, rather than for main meals).

I have about 100 or so. Mainly accumulated as presents or from travel. I have enjoyed trying out some of the recipies from the really old or exotic books.

Yes! There are a few I still use regularly that are in tatters and held together with duct tape.

I did do a cull recently and donated a few - those in pristine condition!
