Medical query (rash)

I've had what I assume is 'flu for the last six days and have now developed a rash on the inside of both arms. Can anyone tell me whether this is a fairly common or garden symptom to accompany a virus, or whether it signifies something that I should get checked out?

Other symptoms are:
Fever (more or less gone)
Cough (improving)
Congestion / runny nose (improving)
Mild sickness and diarrhea, loss of appetite (more or less gone now)

I feel like I'm improving and in a few more days should be roughly ok, but this rash is a weird addition to the standard list of 'flu symptoms. It's quite similar to eczema (which I've never had), I think. I'm early 50s and otherwise healthy.

It's a nightmare to get an appointment with my GP, and 111 is useless, which is why I'm asking here first. Thanks!

Guttate psoriasis can be triggered by an infection (normally strep throat but I'm sure others are available)

Did you test for covid? Covid can often give people diarrhoea and vomiting and sometimes a rash. Are you able to keep food/fluids down? Hopefully you are on the mend soon.

Thanks, everyone. Doesn't sound like it's anything too serious.

No, I don't have a kit, but I don't think it's Covid. Yes, managing to eat and drink ok (once I've summoned up the energy to assume a vertical position!).

Pop into a pharmacy and let the pharmacist have a look.

Yes, might do that. It's actually already fading.
