Ninja Airfryers

My old trusty Airfryer is on its way out. Been looking online and there's a Ninja one I like. It's a 6l basket one, not one of the big singing and dancing ones.

It's more expensive than some other similar sized ones. Are all Ninja AF generally better than their cheaper counterparts or is it generally a better brand

I dont need or have space for the big one it's purely this one I'm interested in

So if this was AIBU I'd be saying

A: Don't be ridiculous an Airfryer is an Airfryer save your money

B: Buy a Ninja

Helllllllp

Is it the ninja foodi 11 in 1? I've got it, love it but you can only really cook one meal at a time

If you can buy a dual ninja air fryer, I'd recommend those x

Ninja AF are amazing. Highly recommend. As PP said a dual basket one they are worth it.

We've recently got that one. It was to replace an Instant Pot model that was much cheaper but developed a fault after a few months that meant it wouldn't recognise that the drawer was shut.

I got it replaced, but the replacement developed the same fault after nearly a year. It turned out that this is a known issue with Instant Pot airfryers and some of them will just develop a faulty sensor. Most will be fine, but I wasn't willing to have the faff of it happening again and having to try to get it replaced.

I did swither with the Cosori brand because it was much cheaper and had good reviews, but in the end decided it was worth spending more just to hopefully get something that did a good job and would be reliable.

I've got a Ninja 8 in 1 and a Tower Vortex. I use the Vortex all the time, and it was a fraction of the price of the Ninja. I think under £100 in a sale. I think that it's because the two drawers are a more practical shape, and it's easier to cook more than one thing at a time.

B) get the Ninja, we have a couple of different versions and they are all 100% better then the cheaper brands.

SquashPenguin · 14/02/2025 18:19

Ninja are amazing. We have a ninja and a tefal and the ninja is better by miles.

Samung · 14/02/2025 18:19

Ninja customer service is crap too by the way. My pressure cooker function wasn't working properly. They said it was a known fault, but because it was one month past the end of the guarantee, they would only send me a few more lid seals to try. Alternatively I could have a discount voucher off a new air fryer!!
To me a known fault means that the product is inherently faulty and should at least be replaced FOC.

I bought a dual basket one to replace a single basket Instant Pot Vortex.
It’s good but I wish I’d gone for an air fryer with just a single basket, it’s very rare that I use the baskets to cook different things. More often I find that I have the same food items spread across the two baskets.

I dont have room for a big one but I wouldn't use it. I live alone The one I'm looking at is 7l so slightly bigger than the one I have

Ninja is £100 compared to about £65 for another brand.
