Odd that you wouldn't even have 3 whole Bitcoins. Do they sell them in fractions?

Yes they do.

Gorganzolabrie · 13/02/2025 07:23

Forgetting you bought bit coins is nothing. I have several children that I forgot I had. When they text me to say they've lost their phone and need me to pay some bills for them, I always pay as I feel so guilty for having forgotten about them.

You could use some of it to pay my fine from [email protected]

157€ for 'numerous car violations and parking in innapripriate places'. It's going up to 300€ today.

Oh dear. Sounds serious, better have a lie down and crack open another layer of Milk Tray.

Lucky you. Apparently I've been caught watching porn on my PC and unless I pay loads of money the video is going to be released to my entire family.

I can't understand it. It's my work email and laptop and it never leaves the open plan office Grin

Gloriainextremis · 13/02/2025 17:58

I once got a text from my daughter using a friend's mobile saying Hi Mum, lost my phone, send money so I can buy a new one etc etc. She was sitting beside me in a cafe at the time.

I got one of those as well. I only had 45 minutes before all my contacts were clued in. This however was about a month ago so I can't understand why they're all still waiting. And to add insult to injury all they wanted was £850 (in bitcoin, obviously). Is that all I'm worth? A measly £850? If you're going to scam me at least have some class and ask for a decent amount.

backslashruby · 13/02/2025 19:02

Eek!

Gloriainextremis · 04/10/2025 01:08

Sure they did.

Oh hi, it is me, the Prince from Nigeria. I am so glad to find this thread, I also find myself in a similar predicament and maybe we can help each other. If you could be so kind to transfer me 250 so that I can unlock my frozen account with 1,000,000,000 in it, I can then repay your kindness and send the 500 you need to unlock your bitcoin. Please contact me to proceed!

Zilla1 · 06/10/2025 14:44

Will no one think about the Princes? And oil executives. And family members of dictators. It's been many months since I've received an email from them. I wonder if the banks are paying the IT companies to filter out those emails so the banks can rake in interest on all the monies trapped? They're not chopped, spiced ham, they're people's savings tht just need some truting sou;ls with banka ccounts and small sums f savings to free them. Think of the Princes. Free the money.
