Am I on the wrong dose of sertraline? When should it work?

I’ve been given 25mg daily for anxiety, mainly intrusive thoughts. I’ve been googling and 25mg seems low? Will it even work? It’s taken me a LOT of guts to admit I need them and I feel a bit miffed that I may have the wrong dose so it will be pointless?

Yes it works. No it's not pointless. How long have you been taking it? Be very careful the first 2 weeks as you may feel even worse.
For some of us it's life changing.
