Where can I live in the south east that has good transport links to London? Budget £450k. I need a 3 bedroom house.

I'm so fed up of the antisocial behaviour where I live. Bins overflowing as people can't be bothered to recycle, dog poo everywhere, flytipping all over the place, drug issues, illegal parking and dangerous driving very common.

I want to live somewhere that's just nice. Where people take a bit of pride in where they live. I need to be walking distance to a station.

Any suggestions for my budget please?

If you like the idea of living by the sea look at the Kent coast: Folkestone (fast train to London), Deal or Margate.

Villages around Faversham are nice and high speed trains to London. How long a commute is acceptable?

Commuting budget and max commute time is key. Plus if you need good schools/ what age

Bexley Borough? Zone 5 mostly, excellent schools (although it is a grammar area), . Lots of green space, easy and quick to LB and central London. It would probably be a 60's/70's build with that budget.

I would just live in London. I'm sure you can find a 3-bed property for £450k. Do a search on Rightmove. You should be able to find something in zone 3 or 4.

Maybe Forest Hill, Penge or Crystal Palace? It won't be a house, but better living in an apartment than having to commute, surely.
