I absolutely love This Country! Started watching it with my younger brother after our mum died and it gave us some welcome relief from our new reality. It has since become a favourite show of our whole family. Have lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched it. ‘Threatening letters’ is my favourite episode, so funny. The whole show is so relatable if you’ve grown up in a similar village to Kerry and Kurtan. So many of the sub- characters are recognisable as people from real life.

I read her biography (and recommended it to someone today funny enough!). It was one of only a few books I have cried with laughter reading. She is fantastic!

I've watched This Country over and over, I absolutely love it! I so hope there's another series to come, they could go for years on that! Absolutely brilliant and great that she found support on here too 💗

The episode of This Country when they are waiting for the vicar at the train station has me belly laughing, absolute snot and tears inducing laughing. I love her, loved both AIBU and Raindogs too.

Theres alot about the relationship with the vicar that is absolutely heartbreaking. That they are so utterly clueless. Brilliant pathos which the best comedy comes from.
