Eldest DD and so very new territory but as in title submitted UCAS application on Wednesday and now into the waiting game..

It’s a performance based uni and she has already passed the audition part of both courses applied with her predicted A level grades taking her well over the points needed but still very nerve wracking..

Had originally it would be much nearer to May but a few of her friends were offered places (different universities) on Thursday and Friday.

DD is off for a night out tonight (as it should be) and Im biting my nails off and we are only on day two!!!

Anyone else’s DC waiting?

I'm not sure what you mean by passed the performance part and waiting.

My knowledge of those that are performance, normally do auditions, and there isn't pass/fail; it's do audition and get in or not (or sometimes offered waitlist).

So do you mean the exams like the maths one (MAT etc)? In which case again it's not pass/fail it's a result.

I'm on third dc doing very different things.

#1 maths. Got offers generally very quickly, at least one almost by return of post, Durham was a bit slower, but I think she had all answers by now, but she had applied early.
#2 musical theatre applying after results. She was doing auditions round now. She got the one she really wanted to, mid February and pulled out of the others. I do remember one hadn't even looked at her audition tape at the point she pulled out. They were much slower and spread out.
#3 technical theatre. He got one conditional offer and rest interviews within a week of applying. He's had one interview and others are in about a month or so. Hasn't had the result of the interview (or if he has he isn't admitting it)

So it can be very varied. Depends on subject and institution - and the specific year group/her etc. Sit back and forget about it.

There’s no set timeline really. Each university/ department has their own process. Try not to read too much in it
