What's the cheapest way to get from Newquay to Manchester if you don't have a car?

Clearly by plane and you have to go via Malaga

Flight for 2 from Newquay to Malaga and then Malaga to Newquay were £108 altogether compared to a train price of £203 each.

(Is anyone reminded of the Wrigglesworths travelling from Sheffield to London via Amsterdam!!)

Kristina Coulson says it was cheaper to take the "extreme day trip" than travel by train.

Megabus?

£54.20 by coach and that's tomorrow - might get cheaper further in advance

Megabus?

Faced with the choice of about 8 hours on a Megabus vs a day trip to Malaga, I know what I'd pick.

We once went to Lanzarote for a few days and the flights were £30 return each, which includes £26 pp of taxes. Before the cap on fares, we couldn't even get the bus to our nearest town, less than two miles away for the residual £4 return.

There are also direct flights from Manchester to Newquay, although i think I have paid more for them than this lady paid via Malaga.

Super quick and easy flight though, only in the air about 35 minutes.

More fun as well!
