Bum is very far apart after childbirth

I’m aware this may sound like a troll post but it’s really not. I have a three year old, had a natural birth, but with forceps. Took the longest time to heal and get sensations back everywhere but I’ve always felt not quite right.

It literally hit me a second ago that my bum is now so far apart my cheeks barely even touch. I’m imagining it was just the sheer force exerted and the way my bones realigned and my body healed.

Has anyone else has anything similar? I wouldn’t even know HOW to even start explaining this to a GP. It doesn’t cause any pain it’s just uncomfortable and feels strange and different than how it was pre birth.

I’m not sure I understand?

Have you lost a lot of weight recently?

Say what you said here to the GP. Like your butt cheeks have moved and are further apart than before, and it feels misaligned.
I personally haven't experienced this but you can't be the only one. There's no need to be embarrassed. Ask for a female GP if you like, as they probably will need to look.

Maybe a few lbs here and there but I’m a lot heavier than I was pre child.

I’ll try and draw a visual 😂

Maybe it’s where my hips have widened, actually now I look at those diagrams

I don't have experience with the bum, apart from a 4th degree tear and little sensation when having a movement these days, but after my first DC I now pee up. After child birth I honestly think anything can happen to our bodies.

I don't really know what to suggest but if something is causing discomfort definitely see if you can get an appointment.
