If you could watch any film, what would it be?

I saw Hairspray at the theatre last week, it was excellent. Divine was amazing in the movie.

Did you know Oliver is on in the West End again? I’m going on the 22nd February.

Leon: The Professional and Les Visiteurs, both star the wonderful Jean Reno.
Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources, two of the few films that are as good as the books imo.

Tremors (don’t watch any of the sequels, and the same goes for From Dusk Till Dawn - they are truly dreadful in both cases.

Haven’t seen that film in years. I loved it when I was younger.

Just watched this tonight and thought it was such a good film.
Also, as a couple have mentioned, dead poets society, Jean de florette and manon de source, which I rewatched recently.

@Scorchio84 everything and anything! Tend to lean more towards classics and I love a good nazi film.. but has to be a compromise with DH who likes shouty shooty American thrillers

You may enjoy Number 24 about The Resistance in Norway.

The Martian. I saw it years ago but I've just read the book (after reading Project Hail Mary which I loved) and want to watch the film again. It's about 2.5 hours long though so need to factor that in!

@Scorchio84 we watched the time travellers wife, but I couldn't watch it past the point of him dying so had to turn it off. Perhaps not a film for the recently bereaved...
