Sorry about such a boring subject, but I can't sleep and obviously need to get a life!!! ...

I was wondering, if I had to downsize and only had room for one, would it be a washing machine or a dishwasher? (No counter top dishwasher allowed)!

I then wondered if I could just have one of the following, would it be a microwave or an air fryer?

To make my life sound less boring, perhaps I should ask ... if I had to do it all again, would I pick my husband or A N Other? (Not really)!

My dishwasher is currently broken so I'm washing up and it's not that bad. Hand washing all my clothes? You're having a giraffe.

I don't have an aifryer so it's the microwave for me.

No idea about your husband.

When I didn't have access to a washer I had a wonderful laundry service that would pick up, wash and iron my clothes and bring them back on hangers.

So dishwasher for me.

Washing machine and microwave.

I chose TD over the DW.

I have both airfryer and microwave and would chuck my microwave in a heartbeat. Bloody dial is playing up and keeps increasing in time ...

Moved house 3 years ago and not used the dishwasher once since then - use the washing machine at least 5 loads a week (5 year old twins in house) so I’d never manage without the washing machine but a sink, hot water and washing up liquid has been enough to convince me we don’t need a dishwasher.

Out of a microwave or air fryer, I think I’d have to say the air fryer as that gets used much more often than the microwave and is far more versatile!

A couple of years ago we had to decide which appliance insurance we were going to stop out of TV and tumble dryer - decision was, we could always manage without a TV if it broke but not without a tumble dryer so cancelled the TV insurance - they still write to me now saying it’s been so long since I cancelled it and wouldn’t I like it covered for my “peace of mind”? Nope - I’ve had 2 replacement parts for the tumble dryer in that time which would have cost more than the annual insurance premiums for both but the TV is still going strong!!

If I had to ask it would be which do I need more - slow cooker or pressure cooker?
