Can't see anything that says its an option but thought I would see if anyone is more in the know?

Have seen something gorgeous, but it's spendy so wondered if there's any payment options?

I doubt it since you're buying off members of the public..

I wouldn’t have thought so.

im going to sound like my dad now but I’ll say it anyway. If you can’t afford to pay for it in full, you can’t afford it. Obviously this wouldn’t apply for a house but if it’s something on Vinted it’s likely clothes etc. don’t stretch yourself for something you probably don’t need

You can do it through Ebay although I guess that's just as likely to be a business

Thank you but I can afford it - would just be more convenient for me to spread the cost a bit!

No you can't do that on Vinted.

Use an interest free credit card to pay?

KittenOnTheTable · 21/01/2025 06:52

You can do it on ebay through PayPal so members of the public still get paid not just business's. You cam do PayPal credit (like a credit card but no card) or they do pay in 3.

How long has it been listed for? If it’s more than a few days I’d take my chances that’s it not going anywhere quick and just set aside money this month then buy it next pay day so you split the cost.
Also if it’s been up a little while I’d take a punt on a cheeky offer. I’ve had offers that have been declined before then the seller comes back to me a week later with another offer closer to mine as they haven’t sold it.

I wouldn’t buy anything expensive on there because you don’t have the ease of returning it if it doesn’t fit/you change your mind/it’s not quite what you thought, like you would buying it new.

This, you're taking a big risk. If it's a high end item it could also be fake or not in the condition it's described as. Also, as the other poster said if it's not an essential and you need to spread the cost, can you actually afford it? Yes, you might be able to buy it once, but to truly be able to afford a non essential item, you should really be able to buy it multiple times over without it having a detrimental impact on your finances.
