Identify my bites!

Something has bitten me, in bed at night. The cats don’t have fleas and I don’t think this looks like the dreaded bed bugs.

I have five bites - on my left hand, left upper arm, right wrist, right elbow and one on my upper back. They are relentlessly itchy. I have scratched them. They are swollen, particularly the one on my hand.

Nothing is relieving the itch. I’ve taken a claritin and put some aloe vera gel on and am just sitting here going quietly mad!

(We are in the U.K., south west coast).

I have just took more pics of my hands and arms i hope someone can help me

That looks like some sort of skin condition and I’d go to a&e. They have holes inside of them. Go asap

Sorry to say but there’s a real possibility that it’s bed bugs.

I have had to deal with them too & react really badly to the bites. Start out itchy, then become painful lumps, some got infected & turned dark purple, then they dry up and look like what you have. And oh my god the itching!!!

I thought it was mosquitoes at first and bought all the sprays and repellents. Until I realised I was getting more & more and I hadn’t even been outside.

i never actually saw one in my bed even searching for them so don’t let that fool you. But I went on a 10 night holiday to somewhere warm & sticky and was never bitten once. Soon as I was back it started again so the culprit was quite obvious…

I’ve attached a picture of my bites to compare. Does it look familiar?

how often are you coming out in new bites?

Also the fact the bites are grouped together in certain areas is a bit of a giveaway

Bedbugs. Take an antihistamine and see pharmacist or doctor ASAP.
