How’s Your Saturday Evening Shaping Up?

Just cooking tea - really hungry as I’ve hardly eaten all day. DD16 & her friend who is staying over will do theirs afterwards. I took them to Tescos to buy it plus snacks & drinks. It’s miserable out, super dark & raining. Found out Gladiators isn’t on until next week so we’ll no doubt watch more of The Resident or maybe a film.

Quiet night with the husband and kids. Eldest DD had 5 friends sleepover last night as a birthday treat meaning there 7 kids in total here from 3pm yesterday until 2pm today. They were all great and I had a good nights sleep but I feel exhausted today, unlike my newly 11 year old was up until 2 and hasn’t so much as yawned. We had a picky dinner of left over pizza, popcorn chicken etc and now watching all 3 of this weeks episodes of The Traitors. Might have a glass of wine or might fall asleep in the couch before 9pm.

@thewrathofBethDutton oh God, have been there SO many times. You really hit a nerve. Head out tomorrow and leave them to it.

We had salmon,broccoli and rice cooked by me,served by me,and cleaned up afterwards by me! I don't watch much TV and our sitting room is freezing,so on my bed MNing with a candle and fairy lights lit.

DH is away with his friends so kids and I went to trampoline park and got a McDs on the way back.

Now all have our PJs on and duvets downstairs whilst we catch up on Traitors.

Tonight we're going to have "family bed" and all 3 sleep in our superking bed I can't wait.

Got pastries and fruit for breakfast and a film in bed tomorrow as all sports cancelled due to ice yippeee

Just finished final LOTR films, showing a teen who HADN’T seen them (so it was up to us) still utterly fantastic movies.

I made chicken with Bombay potato stuffed parathas, then ice cream during but can see screen from kitchen so did it during the non-battle scenes.

Once teen dropped home will have a couple of glasses of red with some new on tv but not sure what yet.

Been a productive day.
