Should I be worried over this??

Any tips advice welcome I’ve got 2 kids but this issue is relating to my eldest he’s just turned 3 so I’m still learning with him

We started potty training October , he took to it well. He’s quiet and more shy so in public or at family homes we have to ask him and I do ask a bit much I need to lay off and let him tell me more I get this!

he moved to pre school and he had some accidents yesterday (2) the room leader asked have I been potty training when he’s not ready etc so I’m worried as I said he’s great at home and telling us even when he’s in the middle of something he will tell us!
She said it was just because when he’d done it he didn’t alert anyone so said does he know when he has?

but he always tells me when he’s done a wee wee or poo poo on the potty and also knows if his potty has spilled (if he’s missed) etc

should I be worried or is it the new room leader just getting to know him? And if it is a regression how do I help? I don’t want to go backwards

He's in a new setting, so he just needs to get familiar with everything, and get to know his keyworker. It's fine, he's only little. 😊

Thanks so it’s normal? Just as the lady said oh it’s because he didn’t seem to know

and implied that i was trying potty training when he wasn’t ready

Thanks. I constantly worry have I done potty training right? It’s so tough and he seems to have taken well but I don’t know what’s fully normal with it and what’s not

What's normal is what he's doing. Every child is different. I've got 4 (now adult) kids. They all trained at different times and in different ways, and they all had accidents if in a new place they weren't sure of. They stopped once they settled in.
