I feel like I'm in some sort of second dimension

Any political party or radical group can get a grip of people now so easily.

Why is this being allowed.

Is anyone else feeling really concerned about this change.
Particularly with trump taking about Greenland and Canada

Propaganda will be wild!!!!

Imperfect fact checking will always be the case but is always better than having no fact checking at all. People will die over this.
For example young kids. Their parents will be taken in by lies about vaccinations
Or dangerously ill people will buy into fake quack medical cures for cancer, supplements or lifestyle things to do instead of listening to their doctors . We’ve always had scammers in society or people who say anything to get attention but this is deliberately putting them on a level playing field with truth tellers

We had riots last year after lies on social media and people nearly got burned to death inside buildings by rioters. Horrific. I don’t think we should underestimate what a dangerous change this could be. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c99v90813j5o.amp

By passive aggressive use of a highlighter ... apparently it's "just for the crossword". I'm too old to put myself up for adoption sadly

I think the Daily Mail is a disgusting rag.
However if my dc policed my reading material I’d tell them to fuck off quite frankly.
I do sometimes look at Daily Mail headlines when a controversial subject is doing the rounds, it’s very useful to know what take right wing, middle class bigots have on a subject. I also look at the I, The Guardian and The Times.
Anyone who is faithful to only one news media will not be getting the full picture.
