For the last week DD has been waking up at 1am unable to breathe through her nose. It's blocked with hard/crusty snot (sorry for details). I also have the same but not a bad. I've been going into the living room with her when she wakes up. She lies on me (on her tummy) and falls straight asleep, she is breathing clearly again through her nose. Same with me. My nose is now unblocked. Neither of us have a cold nor any allergies.
Sometimes when the pollen levels are really high I can feel it irritating my nose but I wouldn't say Ive ever had hayfever. I'm trying to work out what it could possibly be. I haven't changed the washing powder. It started when I changed the bed sheet over. The only explanation I can think of is dust in the bedroom? Unless there is a kind of winter hayfever? I cleared out DDs nose in the bath and she has what I call 'London bogeys' ie. They are pretty dark and grim (assuming from pollution and dust?)
Any ideas? Whatever it is it's disturbing both of our sleep. I cant sleep with DD on me so have been up for hours!
Thanks 😊
