Can’t sleep as so anxious - escapism suggestions?

I’ve had a really unsettling couple of weeks with my mental health and still feeling very anxious. My DP also isn’t here tonight and I’m quite afraid to be alone.

I’d love to sleep but just can’t.

Can anyone recommend any shows that are pure escapism - ideally not involving crime, sexual assault or mental health (am usually open to any genre, but not right now.)

I’d usually be up for reading, but my mind is a bit scrambled.

Any other ideas that aren’t TV shows I’m also open to.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks all. Have made it through the last few nights. I’ve tried a few of these suggestions and they really helped. Will probably try all of them in the longer run.

Hi long time insomniac here, it's it's bugger isn't it?
I read books I've read many times before so I bore myself to sleep. It mostly works.
I know you said no murdery tv but I defy anyone to watch Vera and not nod off. No disrespect and I adore the show but those long shots of the coast and countryside just work on me like a sleeping drug!
When I was having a super terrible time with the insomnia I started watching films after my partner had gone to bed, with head phones obviously, and Columbo is very soothing they never show anything gory and often the victim is not very nice, which is reassuring.
