As far as I know, yes. I've seen it.

So long as they sealed then yes, or you could take them to a foodbank.

Sealed, new products- yes

Opened/used- no. You could advertise open ones on the olio app. Initially it was to share free food with others, but now has all sorts of things on there, including opened, tried once type toiletries.Olio - Your Local Sharing App

I’ve seen sealed ones, nailvarnishes etc Nothing opened or unboxed.

The local Hygiene Bank would also take unopened unused products.

Boots stores usually have a box for unused toiletries

Iv seen old bath sets and toiletries in charity shops but never things that have been opened.

Bit late to the party but I have volunteered in two of the large chains and yes we do. They sell well.

As others have said have to be new and unopened. This time of year we see a lot of unwanted gift sets from Chrsitmas.

BobnLen · 10/01/2025 15:12

I have put them in the charity bags that come through the door, it's often on the list of things they take, usually an unwanted gift or things from the beauty advent calendar I haven't wanted to use.

Some of my best buys have been toilet, in fact only today I got a sealed moisturiser from a more obscure brand that retails at c£70.

The other option is to give them to a local fundraising group. In my town the local Cancer Research group, Rotary Cub, etc, etc, have regular raffles and tombolas. Things like shower gel, body lotion, and so on are useful for prizes.

Please don't donate via the bags that come through the door unless they ae a charity you know well. Often, very little of the value of the items ends up with the charity.
