Unfortunately someone has already lost their life climbing this year from a fall and separately a car got stranded on hard knot pass (one of the high fell roads) they had to shut the road

Very deep snow here in West Yorkshire. Just walked five miles in it to the swimming pool which was closed so that was annoying.

Several inches here in East Lancashire and still snowing. Forecast rain from 11am though.

Yes deep ish snow (several inches) here on the West Yorks/North Yorks border. We've been out trying to clear branches that have been dragged down by the snow snd blocking the road.
