worried about HMRC home visit

Hi,

I currently owe HRMC £515. I am trying to solve this, however I am aware that they can send out HRMC field officers to your home - I would hate this. How likely is this for what I imagine is a relatively small debt?

Highly unlikely.

Agree with pp, you should proactively arrange to repay what you can afford on a monthly basis.

They can issue fines for late payment and interest charges.

Give them a ring. They can be quite sound and should help you pay it back gradually. Dont fret they arent the worst x
