Paying for returning items

Have I been unlucky, but there seems a lot more ‘admin charges’ for return's this year. Normally you can return things free-of-charge, but I’ve noticed this year there’s a charge. A couple of pounds isn’t too bad, but one company is charging five pounds, which I thought was a bit steep.

They had to because of the trend of buying huge quantities and sending nearly everything back.

Yes I think they’ve realised how much it actually costs them with free returns, there is very few places that do it for free now.

It's because there are too many people doing "hauls" and sending it all back, and the old buying an outfit, wearing it for a night out and sending it back. I don't blame them.

Which could be avoided if shops actually stocked items in the sizes/colours the same as their website.
I’m short and petite sizes are hard to come by in physical stores. Or size 3 shoes.

Annoyed to be charged £5 to return a heated throw that arrived in a battered, open box (intended as a xmas gift), and which barely got warm.
