Recommendations - Budapest thermal baths

After some recommendations if possible, off to Budapest in February and starting to think about the things we want to do/see whilst we’re there. Definitely like to do the baths but seen there are a few different ones.
Does anyone recommend any particular one? Or is there one that’s nicer than the rest?

Any other tips/recommendations would be great also.

Thanks 🙂

We went to Szechenyi which was beautiful, but absolutely full to the gills on a warm day (particularly with Brits enjoying the "beerspa"). There is something absolutely grim about sharing tepid water with hundreds of sweaty folk, and there was not a seat/sunbed to be had. I would go at 7am in future - it's worth getting up early for.

Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities, really underrated as a destination imo. :)

This one is good- big pool changing cubicles, hot a and cold
Read up on the requirements before you go regarding things like hair caps, flip flops, tight fitting swimwear etc
Also massage booking

Thanks both @Vinvertebrate @Breadcat24

I absolutely love the thought of baths as I’ve read they are a ‘must do’ but the only thing that puts me off is how clean will they be.

I have been to 2 and they were pretty clean- tiles clean. They are quite strict about hair and outdoor shoes etc. I went in autumn so cannot say for the rest of the year. This was a few years ago mind you but I expect if anything they have pepped up hygienge post covid
Big ones like Szechenyi Baths might be busy
there are also less traditional small bath spas like BATH - Mandala Day SPA
which would have less people in but pricy
Or a turkish haman type bath like rudas
