If you exercise/go to the gym a lot, do you have a complete break over Christmas?

I’m talking a whole two weeks off!

It’s cold, rainy, lots going on with family etc and some of the classes are not on at the gym so I haven’t been and won’t go until Monday. Is it normal to not do a thing for two weeks? I haven’t been doing nice long walks either as teen dc aren’t interested and it’s too much effort to drag them.

If you exercise a lot, do you still manage to do
keep it up at this time of year?

My exercise is running with the dog, so I've had no let up! He isn't into missing his exercise.

I only go to certain classes and none of them have been on last week so I've had about 10 days off from the gym. I've missed it and done a couple of longer walks to make up for this. I'm ready for everything to go back to normal, but im dreading the gym and how busy it's going to be next week. Roll on February when it all goes back to normal!

I've done less simply because I've not had as much time between sorting the house, the food, spending time with family and days out.

I had one whole week off because I was short on time and wasn't very well and recently I've done shorter runs or maybe 2 runs instead of 3.

Need to really knuckle down next week though, up my runs, the distance, speed and get back to the gym too.

I manage to go more as I take annual leave over Christmas so I make the most of it by going on days I would usually be working.
