Rotting under a blanket on the sofa with the mist revolting cold I've had in years 🤧 A whole two weeks off work that I was really looking forward to and I'm wasting it drowning in snot.

I have become one with the sofa and haven't got a clue what day it is. Trying not to do much as felt quite burnt out going into Christmas. It's so nice to just watch films and have nowhere I need to be.

Sounds perfect. I used to work shifts all over Christmas/ New Year but I'm now term time only and Ive discovered I LOVE this limbo week. This is exactly how I spend it.

26th lunch with family
27th I visited my estranged sister
28th Indian meal with family
29th (today) food shop for NY and house guests, car wash, games and lazy evening with my DSs
30th visit family. Drop DS1 at train. DS2 going to late football match. Sister and family staying. Bit hectic tbh!
31st sister and family staying, panto with her and other sister and family. See NY in
1st not sure. Fireworks at coast maybe cancelled
2nd visit local friend
Back to work on 6th - looking forward to a few quiet days just me and DS2. I'll do lots of tidying, sport and jigsaw.
First time I've had a full 2 weeks off work at this time of year for a long time.
