Air fryers - is Ninja really worth it?

Planning to buy an air fryer in the next couple of days but haven’t got a clue what I’m looking for other than it needs to be dual and simple looking. Bamboozled by Ninja claims of 15-in-1 function, don’t think I need anywhere near this complicated.

Anyone got a Tefal? Or Cosori? Tower seem to be cheapest, any good?
Or should I just go for a Ninja at double the price?

I have a ninja dual, bought it before air fryers became a thing because DH broke the grill on the cooker. I'm willing it to die so I can get the ninja big drawer one. I've barely used my oven since having it. I'm also eyeing up the ninja soup maker at the mo.

I have a Ninja Dual and despite my scepticism that Air Fryers are a fad, DH persisted and it is brilliant. Use the oven/frying pan far less, saving money and it's healthier. Cooks everything so much faster than the in the oven too, and I don't feel guilty doing small portions or just something like garlic bread now!
I have to say it is a game changer.
Love the fact that you can cook two different things in the Dual using different settings (say Air fry in one half and roast in the other) and have them automatically ready at the same time.

Yes we love our ninja but buy silicone or disposable liners we wash ours every third use as it’s just chips and vegitarisn stuff going there

Can anyone tell my why my ayr fryer setting has now switched on the ayr fryer/ hob setting? The fan also does not work on this setting but it will not change back to the normal ayr fryer only mode.
