Scotland to Chessington World of Adventures - anyone done this?

Debating taking DCs to Chessington in summer but not sure we can face the drive from West of Scotland. Anyone done this without driving and can offer advice including accommodation etc? Thanks

I can't compare vs TP, but I have to agree the "big" rides at Chessington all have ridiculous queues, even on completely off peak days IME.

But as long as you're prepared for that, then it's a good day out and there is plenty for older kids as well as younger ones.

You can look up all the height restrictions online if you did want to double check TP.

For accommodation, if the next door Premier Inn is expensive, there's one at Tolworth which would be a very quick taxi ride away.
