Dog pee smell

How can I get rid of dog pee smell in my hall way?

He's been peeing on my vinyl flooring.. I have washed it over using clothes washing detergent, I let that dry . Then I used lots of white vinegar but it still smells .

I'm wondering if it gone into the concrete under the vinyl if that's the case I have bought some concrete seal so I may use that . And replace the vinyl.

But in the mean time any suggestions? To get rid of the smell .

Not looking for advice regarding the dog as that's in hand .

You need an enzyme cleaner rather than disinfectant. And yes, if it's been repeated then it'll be in the concrete.

I have not used disinfectant. I thought detergent had enzymes in it

An enzyme cleaner. And a paste of bicarbonate of soda is pretty good too.

i like the dr beckmans odour and pet stain remover, I get it from home bargains. I have no often needed to use it but it’s good. (Other brands are available too but I haven’t used any others). One of my dogs accidentally peed in our back porch, cheap b&q carpet tiles on top of whatever wood type floor boards underneath. I used about a quarter to a third of a bottle, brushed it in the tiles and the board underneath (not much on the board as it’s wood so didn’t want to damage it) and no smell. I did do it almost immediately but it worked very well, so much pee.

it’s also absolutely gonna be in the concrete too, but I don’t know any tips of concrete.

No. You need something specific for this. Hence why soap hasn't cleaned up the smell.

Thank you. I have lots of bicarbonate of soda . I will order the dr beckmans to. I forgot about that . With the concrete I'm thinking to wash it best I can let it dry out . And use the waterproof concrete seal. So if it happens again there less chance of it soaking in and i can clean it easier
