Anyone else get/buy lego for themselves this Xmas? If so, which one?

I got the mandrake from Harry Potter from my husbands grandparents, which was very kind and much appreciated. Got an orchid set from parents in law, and treated myself to the black and white cat at the shops today.
Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but I find it so relaxing and they look great when complete! Saw some bloke buying the eye of Sauron one for about £300 today and was very jel! 😂

Should add the Millenium Falcon would be my dream. But just a touch expensive to justify. So far anyway………😁

Tuxedo Cat here too for my adult DD

I got hogwarts castle. I'm so excites have wanted ot for years. We are at mums house till the 4th so won't start till I get home.

I got the Tuxedo cat which I'm currently working my way through . I got my first Lego sets last Xmas (hocus pocus and home alone house ) and it really has helped me switch off . Going to save up to buy DH the titanic for next Xmas .

I am currently building the Elf house and for Christmas got the post office , a brickheadz tails and the chrysanthemum. I need to move to a bigger place as I have so many sets I don't have room . My next purchase will be Tudor corner .

I love that set but the size is a bit daunting tbh . The home alone house is my biggest so far.

I got the Nightmare Before Christmas set from my husband and adult kids. I’d been lusting after it but it was quite expensive and so I didn’t really expect them to get it. I’m so excited to build it.

They should send it. It’s possible over the website. My dog stole a couple of pieces of Lego and chewed them. I sent them a photo of my cute dog and the Lego and got the pieces about a week later.

I bought myself some more for Christmas - the poinsettia and the Christmas candle but haven’t got around to making them yet and I have so many other sets to finish. But I have Lego bouquets dotted around my house as they don’t die.

I've got Santa's Post Office, which I will put away till next Nov and then do in the run-up to Christmas to add to my lego Christmas Village which is growing every year. I did Alpine Lodge this Nov/Dec. I don't do it all year round but find it very relaxing in the run-up to Christmas.

Another one with the alpine lodge, it's lovely. Also bought a light kit off Amazon for it. I thought it'd be a bit crap but actually love it!

Just finished the Milky Way set - taken about 7 hours in total over two days.
DH just completed the Artemis rocket set but he is much slower at Lego than I am!
Both will be displayed around the house, my Milky Way on the wall in the living room, Artemis in the garden office with the rest of the space Lego.

Do Starry, Starry Night and Hokusai's the Wave as well - they both look awesome on the wall especially with the light kits.

I got DH the Endurance ship for Christmas, and it came with Shackleton’s lifeboat as a Black Friday freebie.

DH got me set 80113, a Chinese restaurant, just started building it. We also have Rivendell and the Home Alone house but I don't know when we'll build them.

I just wanted to show you my impulse purchase from earlier today. There is a collectors shop near us and I popped in with DS after we’d been out to lunch. I got this limited edition set and built it immediately!
