I want to embrace ‘slow living’ this year. Do you know any programmes/books/podcasts/resources to help me with this?

I’m just knackered and frazzled and ready to curl up under a stone.

I’m going to obviously improve my physical and mental health blah blah blah, but it’s the slow living I want help with.

I am in. I feel shackled by all my stuff. I have taken a couple of years off work at 51 (still pay myself a basic wage as developing new income streams) to get fit and lose weight for good.

I still need to work and earn a bit of money for the next 15 years but I have enough to live within reason. Just need to be more mindful and minimal.

Going to keep every receipt and going to eat the store cupboards right down first.

Get house ready to sell too.

Keeping a Bullet Journal really helped me slim down my life and focus on what and who is really important. That and stoicism, just keeps you grounded.

Just quickly putting this here for anyone interested, it looks like a new section they’re starting, ‘the overwhelm’.

🤣 Well yes, it did occur to me that it’s laughable!

But what’s that you say? Put the smartphone away? 🤯 Noooooo……..

Haha, yes off the grid is the only way, just think of all of that free time!
