Mystery packages

Before Christmas a box was delivered to our house with just our surname, no first name. I thought one of my sons had ordered it. He was adamant he hadn't and when we opened it - it contained loads of whitening toothpaste tubes

There wasn't any paperwork with it so couldn't return it.

A couple of weeks later - another box arrived. It also contains about 8 toothpastes.

Today- another package of bloody toothpaste has been delivered.

Has anyone else had mystery toothpastes? Is it some kind of scam? How can I stop them and what do I do with them?

Possibly a 'brushing scam' (no pun intended!) - items are ordered in order for fake, positive reviews to be posted on Amazon.

Thanks @UndeniablyGenXmasOfAWomblingMerryType

I don't want to just chuck them in the bin but don't really want to use them either as they may be fake and full of god knows what.

Usually there would be some indication of the delivery company, e.g. DPD, Evri, Royal.Mail etc.
If it just a blank box with your surname on I would suspect it to be some sort of joke.

Is it all the same brand? Has gone past the expiry date?

Does anyone in your house have bad breath?

Thankgodxmasisover · 27/12/2024 18:52

Yes, Evri delivery.

@whoopeedu oh my goodness - I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps someone has sent them to me. Perhaps I've offended someone with my breathe! 😂

Is there a brand or company name on the tubes that you can google? Has anyone accidentally signed up to a subscription? Won a competition where the prize is a year's supply of toothpaste?

Definately haven't entered a competition!

It could be a 'brushing' scam. Someone will be giving the sender glowing reviews. If it came from Amazon you can report it to them:
