Anyone sustained any injuries over the festive season*?

I accidentally knocked the steam vent on the instant pot on Christmas eve.
I now have a lovely 10p sized burn mark on my upper arm 😖

Oh, and a bruise on the top of my foot from a tin of soup falling out of the cupboard!

@Greyrooted how did you do that?!

I was chopping corned beef for a pie and was a bit clumsy. 😬 I’m a bit of a liability at times. Luckily none of the corned beef was contaminated and the pie was delicious!😂

Sliced my fingers opening a cardboard box.
Burnt the top of my hand on the oven, DH has just remarked it looks a bit runny 🤢

Mine was the family favourite Christmas eve ham which too was very delicious.

It is still very tender around the scab area.
It's in an awkward position which doesn't promote good healing - gah!! 😩

Trying to multitask bringing a coffee cup washing basket and a phone in my hands down the stairs on Boxing Day. Yep I slipped and banged my left eye with my phone fgs. Sport an amazing yellow tinged bruise now.

Slipped on mud while out with the dogs on Xmas Eve. Hurt my knee and bruised my leg beautifully, lol. Was sat in the mud, trying rather inelegantly to get up while holding a mental Podenco, with my partner trying to help me up also holding another mental Podenco. No alcohol involved, we don’t drink!

Cut both thumbs 3 days in a row on the sellotape dispenser wrapping gifts. Ouch

@rosiethegremlin I - another Rosie - dropped something heavy on my foot on Christmas morning. Nothing broken probably and I'm pretending it doesn't hurt.
